Recipes
NOTE on Sacrificial Beetles:
- As far as I can tell the sacrificial beetle is not part of the recipe
- It may change the probability of success or failure of the crafting attempt.
- It may alter the rarity of the output (for example, the Pond + Pond smash recipe with Purple sacrifice = Goliath, while Green sacrifice output Monarch) YMMV!

Smashed Recipes
Hammer and Sacrifice are not part of the recipe, but modify Crafting Bonus, durability loss, and maybe success rate? There's an interesting note about Grigger Maxxing on the protips page
Tier up
We're collecting smash data, but just from gut feel this recipe has an abysmal dog shit success rate, and I highly recommend looking to beetle to flower transmutation and crafting artifacts to upgrade your lower tier materials.
| Recipe | Output |
|---|---|
| Bronze rarity beetle x2 (i.e., Ladybug x2) | Mithril rarity beetle (i.e.,Monarch) |
| Bronze rarity flower x2 (i.e., Milk Thistle x2) | Mithril rarity flower (i.e.,Morning Glory) |
Artifacts
Creating Artifacts
There is a layer of RNG with artifact crafting where you have a chance to craft different artifacts from the same recipe.
| Recipe | Output |
|---|---|
| Ladybug + Bronze Pollen | Nectar or Cattail |
| Pond Beetle + Mithril Pollen | Pinecone, Moss or Gunpowder |
Using Artifacts
| Recipe | Output |
|---|---|
| Nectar + Ladybug | Monarch |
| Cattail + Ladybug | Pond Beetle |
| Pinecone + Pond Beetle | Goliath Beetle |
| Moss + Pond Beetle | Stag Beetle |
| Gunpowder + Pond Beetle | Bombardier Beetle |
Beetle to Flower Transmutation
Convert beetles to flowers of the same tier by smashing them with a Junk Cube.
NOTE: These recipes may just output one kind of flower, there's still discussion
Examples:
| Recipe | Output |
|---|---|
| Tin Rarity Beetle (Green Beetle) + Junk Cube | Tin Rarity Flower (Daisy) |
| Bronze Rarity Beetle (Ladybug) + Junk Cube | Bronze Rarity Flower (Milk Thistle) |
| Mithril Rarity Beetle (Pond Beetle) + Junk Cube | Mithril Rarity Flower (Morning Glory) |
| Adamantine Rarity Beetle (Stag Beetle) + Junk Cube | Adamantine Rarity Flower (Pincushion) |
Presumably this works for higher tier flowers as well - this has not been tested yet though (maybe not, see below)
As of right now this only seems to work one way eg: you combine a beetle with a junk cube to get a flower. You cannot combine a flower with a junk cube to get a beetle.
Flower Beetlecraft
Using flowers and beetles of the same higher tier rarity can guarantee a certain species of beetle on a successful smash
| Recipe | Output |
|---|---|
| Royal Poinciana + mithril beetle (i.e., Pond Beetle) | Giraffe Weevil |
| Camellia + mithril beetle (i.e., Pond Beetle) | Pillbug |
| Morning Glory + mithril beetle (i.e., Pond Beetle) | Imperial Tortoise Beetle |
| Pincushion + adamantine beetle (i.e., Stag Beetle) | Sabertooth Longhorn Beetle |
| Gazania + adamantine beetle (i.e., Stag Beetle) | Sunset Moth |
