Use the <!junk_cube> + beetle recipe to get flowers.  You'll mostly be smashing <!junk_cube> + [<!pond>,<!monarch>] to get mithril flowers to then assemble into <!mithril_pollen> for smashing into adamantine artifacts, [<!gunpowder>, <!pinecone>, <!moss>].  From the artifacts you smash again with [<!pond>,<!monarch>] to get adamantine tier beetles which are then smashed again with <!junk_cube> to get adamatine flowers to be assembled into <!adamantine_pollen> for the highest tier recipes like <!diamond_hammer> or <!titanium_cube>, etc.

From hunts you collect plenty of bronze beetles and flowers. Bronze beetles can also be smashed with <!junk_cube> to produce flowers if you need more.  Mithril beetles are relatively rare and smashes should be allocated to producing mitrhil artifacts [<!cattail>, <!nectar>] which when smashed with a bronze beetle produces [<!pond>, <!monarch>] respectively. Use <!ladybug> or <!cucumber> with mithril artifacts because <!purple> is suspected to be useful in smashes to buff the crafting bonus and the success rates of smashes. Also the mithril beetle from mithril artifact recipe doesn't require a crafting bonus, using the <!tin_hammer> with <!green> sacrifice has an excellent success rate, but not 100%.
